First to get this out the way, yes I know the built in grinder isn’t brilliant, but my machine is a couple of months old and has developed a new issue, can anybody help?

So I have kept my beans consultant for a while now and the beans I’m using work great at the grind setting of 7.

However a few days ago he grinder made a horrendous noise, turns out a beans got jammed. I thought it was a good excuse to clean the grinder as the manual explains how to do.

But after cleaning everything and putting it back, something seems to have changed. My coffee beans now work best at the most coarse the machine can grind. Setting 16.

And after emptying the machine of beans and clearing out and grinds remaining, the grind adjustment dial gets really stiff and tight when I adjust it to anything lower than a 3.

This doesn’t happy when I remove the top burr, so I think the lower burr is actually making contact with the upper burr. Something isn’t right.

Essentially, my grinder now grinds way finer than it used to on all settings.

Is there a way to change this back? Like a manual adjustment setting thing I can do?
